We teach students at all levels and do not require any prior knowledge. However, a good command of the English language is essential.

The Butler Valet School provides unique special training as we are able to provide so much more being able to train all our students with a ”hands on” course. This is practical training working in the real environment for a working butler, us showing you the right way to do things and then you doing it, seeing, understanding and remembering. Sitting just in a classroom at a desk is not the best training to learn these skills one needs to be doing them.

Prospective students can come and visit us prior to courses if they wish (by arrangement). We can show them what previous classes have done and achieved and also  some of our previous daily course programmes.

We are  able to  provide training for Yachts Interior crew, either here in the UK or onboard their particular yacht if required,we have found in the past these courses being very beneficial to owners and their guests. .

LONDON COURSES:

The Butler Valet School, is holding, One and Two day Butler/ Housekeeper courses at

Our Leading Butler Trainer for these short courses will be Mr Colin Gaunt, ex Buckingham Palace,
Blenheim Palace and Woburn Abbey Butler.

1. Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th July

Day 1 – Wednesday 24th July.
Subjects will include:
How to greet and welcome Guests correctly.
How to lay a Table.
Seating planning according to ones position.

Day 2 – Thursday 25th July.
Subjects will include:
Valeting.
How to clean a pair of shoes.
Ironing a Shirt.
Packing a Suitcase correctly.

Costs are: £800.00 (inclusive VAT) Tuition Fee for both days.
To attend just one day (either Wednesday or Thursday) tuition fee is £500. 00 (inclusive VAT)
Refreshments and luncheon included.
